She was a must buy for us, and we are thrilled to have purchased her well below budget. This Pierro filly is neat and very well balanced, resembling our stakes-performing filly, Moet Down, bought at the same sale two years ago from the same exceptional sire.
Pierro is a champion sire, who produces top class racehorses that perform at all ages, distances and in all conditions. The sire of multiple Group 1 performed Arcadia Queen, amongst many others, and now the sire of the highest-priced yearling ever sold in Australia, Pierro is at the highest end of stallions standing in Australia.
From the extremely well credentialed High Chaparral mare Comancei, she is closely related to champion Australian horses Elvstroem, Haradasun and the globe trotting Ballydoyle star Highland Reel. As a broodmare sire, High Chapparal is responsible for 145 stakes performed horses, with 42 of those as individual group winners.
